Joe Staysniak - Guest Speaker

What could be more fitting than for 1985 MHS graduate and 2001 MAHOF enshrinee, Joe Staysniak to be our emcee for this, our seventh enshrinement.

Joe cast a big shadow at Midview. He was a 6’5” 290lb two-way tackle for the Middies and was All-Conference, All-County, and All-Ohio. He was Lorain County defensive lineman of the year and was the Lombardi award winner. He went on to Ohio State and was a four-year starter at the offensive left tackle position. He was a team captain his senior year. He won numerous awards including All Big 10, GTE Academic All American, Big 10 conference Medal of Honor recipient, and National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame scholarship recipient. Joe was drafted by the San Diego Chargers and was a member of the Buffalo Bills Super Bowl teams in 1990 and 1991. He retired from pro-football in 1996 as a member of the 1995 AFC Champion Indianapolis Colts.

Joe is an afternoon drive sportscaster and co-host of the Indianapolis Colts pre-game show on WIBC radio (1070 AM) in Indianapolis. He lives in Brownsburg, Indiana with his wife, Pam, and sons Nathan, and Lucas.

We’re thrilled to have Joe back this year as our emcee.
